Quality Lead Role

As a Quality Lead, you will be responsible for managing, leading, and supporting the effective implementation of the Project Quality Management Plan, operational best practices, and risk management strategies on the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project quality plans, ensuring quality control and quality assurance measures are adequate for the scope of work and address project requirements.
  • Participate in project meetings to ensure quality items are communicated and addressed, and train and support the project team to ensure they are familiar with the requirements of the quality plan.
  • Coordinate and support quality control and quality assurance activities, including QA/QC meetings, quality checklists, inspection and testing, quality records, and deficiency management.
  • Assist in the identification of project risks and the associated quality control and quality assurance measures required, and assist with on-site inspections and documentation to ensure construction activities are completed in accordance with design specifications and project requirements.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of Civil construction-related experience, preferably in quality control/quality assurance on MTO Bridge and rehabilitation Projects.
  • Experience developing and implementing project quality plans, and working knowledge of quality management practices (e.g. ISO 9001) and other relevant codes and standards related to construction (e.g. CSA A23.1).
  • Exceptional time management and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to plan and organize work in a clear, concise, and punctual manner.
  • Self-directed, motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
