About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Specialist to join our team at C and C West Contracting Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes, utilizing measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create high-quality structures.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to meet client specifications.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our projects.
  • Coordinate and schedule work on sites to ensure timely completion and optimal resource allocation.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, requiring frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Collaborate with our team to deliver exceptional results and meet client expectations.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing project demands.
