About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sawmill Labourer to join our team at White River Forest Products LP. As a key member of our wood processing team, you will be responsible for assisting in the operation of various woodworking machines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Assist other processing workers in the operation of various woodworking machines and equipment.
  • Material Handling: Sort, pile and transport wood products.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas, and perform other routine maintenance tasks.
  • Work Area Cleanliness: Clean work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks as part of your daily duties.
  • Heavy Lifting: Handle heavy loads as required by the job.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires a high level of physical fitness and stamina.
  • Manual Dexterity: Use manual dexterity to perform tasks that require precision and attention to detail.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient work.
