About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced machinist to join our team at Mahler Machining Ltd. As a high-precision machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC turning, milling, and multi-axis machining centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC turning, milling, and multi-axis machining centers.
  • Work with tight tolerances (microns to 5 thou) to ensure high-quality components.
  • Check machined parts and read technical drawings to ensure accuracy.
  • Fulfill detailed paperwork and record dimensions accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and machine.
  • Perform basic maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other machinists to support team goals.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Deburr and polish parts to meet quality standards.
Requirements
  • Experience working with CNC machines and tight tolerances.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and check machined parts.
  • Basic maintenance skills and knowledge of machine operation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
