Sales Team Leader
The Sales Team Leader assists the Sales Manager by offering daily oversight and direction to team members, striving to uphold the highest standards of luxury retail and customer service. Key responsibilities encompass (but are not limited to) the following:
• Supervise the sales floor by actively engaging with customers and staff
• Mentor and train team members to uphold luxury standards and meet customer service objectives
• Address customer inquiries and complaints, keeping the Sales Manager informed
• Suggest improvements and solutions to enhance customer sales and service quality
• Actively participate as a facilitator for sales and service training programs
• Support the implementation and upkeep of sales tools and service initiatives
• Aid team members in developing and nurturing a robust client base and strong customer relationships
• Engage in the recruitment and selection process of new team members
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members as necessary
• Provide insights to the Sales Manager regarding inventory performance, merchandising standards, and customer trends
• Contribute to performance evaluations and improvement plans for team members
• Organize and lead regular team meetings to keep staff informed about upcoming initiatives
• Ensure high standards of merchandise presentation are maintained at all times
• Maintain awareness of daily operations to ensure seamless customer service
• Exhibit leadership behaviors that foster open communication, employee development, and trust
• Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations
• Carry out additional duties as assigned
• Ensure compliance with privacy policies and cybersecurity measures. The ideal candidate will possess:
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience with accountability for sales and service
• A proven history of surpassing sales and profit goals
• Adaptability and comfort with change
• Retail experience in a luxury setting is preferred
• Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• An entrepreneurial mindset
