About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at A&W (Uxbridge). As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Operations Management: Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies and equipment, and maintaining records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that all team members are equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that all areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring that all areas are clean and safe for staff and customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, and team player.
