Key Responsibilities: As an Apprentice 310T Truck & Coach Technician, you will be expected to:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols established by MTB.
  • Maintain effective communication with your Supervisor.
  • Demonstrate reliability and thoroughness in your work.
  • Execute all entry-level tasks efficiently.
  • Understand and interpret information communicated verbally and in writing.
  • Exhibit strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment with a self-driven approach.
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively while being highly organized.
  • Pay attention to detail and follow up diligently.
  • Service all company vehicles as required.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on city buses and highway coaches.
  • Follow established MTO policies and procedures for vehicle maintenance.
  • Complete PM paperwork accurately.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the shop and perform general upkeep on shop equipment.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Candidates should possess mechanical skills and a strong work ethic.
  • A genuine desire to learn and apply new knowledge is essential.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting and work effectively in a team.
  • Enrollment in the 310T Apprenticeship program is mandatory.

Working Environment: Our facility is modern, bright, and equipped with state-of-the-art tools. We pride ourselves on a non-unionized workplace with many long-term employees who contribute to a positive work culture.

Additional Information:

  • Conveniently located with easy access for commuters.
  • Standard shifts are Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
