Job Title: Truck and Coach Technician

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Coach Technician to join our team at Ontario Tarp & Trailer Systems Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks and trailers. This includes inspecting and testing mechanical units, adjusting and repairing parts and components, and performing scheduled maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced technicians. The work site is dusty and noisy, and the candidate must be able to work in a team environment.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Dependability, judgement, reliability, and team player skills
Language:

The work language is English, and the successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively in this language.Hours:

The successful candidate will work 35 to 40 hours per week.
