Key Responsibilities- Design and Fabrication: Study plans, specifications, and drawings to create custom cabinets and millwork.
- Leadership and Training: Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Operations and Maintenance: Operate CADD and other computer software systems, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure efficient use of materials.
- Quality Control: Trim joints, fit parts, and apply finishes to ensure high-quality products.
- Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials for projects, and plan work to meet deadlines.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in cabinetmaking or a related field.
- Skills: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
