About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Head of Regulatory Technology to join our team at TD Bank. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for defining and communicating our global RegTech strategy, driving adoption of best-in-class solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • RegTech Strategy and Solution Management
    • Develop and communicate a comprehensive RegTech strategy that aligns with our business objectives
    • Manage the design and implementation of RegTech solutions to meet regulatory requirements
  • Marketplace Analysis and Vendor Management
    • Conduct market research to identify best-in-class RegTech solutions and vendors
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and partners
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Data, Delivery & Innovation, Regulatory Reporting Operations, Compliance, and technology peers
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Team Leadership and Resource Management
    • Lead and manage a team of RegTech professionals to achieve business objectives
    • Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement
    • Encourage a culture of innovation and experimentation within the RegTech team
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in delivering scalable technology solutions in a financial markets environment
  • Experience leading global delivery teams and managing complex technology projects
  • Strong understanding of financial markets processes, systems, and industry trends
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex technology delivery across multiple asset classes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
