Extrusion Machine Operations Supervisor

Overview:
The Extrusion Machine Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the tasks of personnel who set up and operate extrusion machinery in alignment with established protocols, standards, and client specifications. This role reports directly to the Supervisor of the Extrusion Department.
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the operations of Plastic Processing Extruding Machine Operators engaged in the setup and operation of extrusion machinery.
- Develop and implement strategies to adhere to production timelines and synchronize work efforts with other departments.
- Address operational challenges and propose enhancements to boost productivity and improve product quality.
- Organize and deliver training for team members on job responsibilities, safety protocols, and company regulations.
- Provide recommendations regarding personnel decisions, including hiring and promotions.
- Compile and maintain production reports and other relevant documentation.
- May also be responsible for setting up and operating one or more extrusion machines that produce plastic composite products through a nozzle or die.
Requirements:
- A completed Secondary Education with a Diploma or equivalent experience is mandatory.
- Post-secondary education in sciences or plastics technology is advantageous.
- Previous experience as a Plastic Processing Extruding Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
- A willingness to acquire new skills and participate in the in-house training and apprenticeship program is preferred. Kostklip offers on-the-job training.
- Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and object-oriented skills are essential.
- Security and Safety: medical examination and criminal background check are required.
- Language proficiency: English.
Work Environment Conditions:
The work is conducted in a controlled indoor setting where temperature and humidity levels may fluctuate significantly in certain areas. The environment can be noisy and dusty.
