Painter and Decorator

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at S&S General Contractors. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and painting surfaces to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
- Mix and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as required.
- Advise clients on colours and choice of wall coverings.
- Estimate costs and materials for painting and decorating projects.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in painting and decorating.
- Ability to work outdoors, underground, at heights, and in confined spaces.
- Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-44 hour workweek. The work environment is varied, with tasks performed at various locations, including on-site customer service.
