Role Overview: As a Senior Account Management Officer, you will oversee the comprehensive management and administration of Estates, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely, precise, and professional handling of intricate estate, trust, and power of attorney accounts.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with accounts while strictly adhering to all Trust Policies & Procedures.
- Manage cash flow, fee collection, and account openings efficiently.
- Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work model, spending 1-3 days per week on-site and the remainder working remotely.
- Collaborate effectively with internal specialists from the Investment Management and Tax Department to provide comprehensive oversight on client investment and tax matters.
- Supervise account investments to guarantee alignment with account objectives and relevant legislation.
- Demonstrate Trust & Estate expertise by ensuring onboarding and account management meet the unique needs of clients.
- Establish robust tracking and compliance measures in line with governing documents, resolving operational and discretionary issues as they arise.
- Contribute to the development of administrative standards and review new or modified policies and procedures.
- Enhance account administration by identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Manage personnel effectively by setting clear expectations and aligning individual roles with business unit priorities.
- Ensure adherence to policies, standards, and guidelines consistently, fostering a clear understanding among employees.
Qualifications: A thorough understanding of accounting and investment principles is essential for managing complex Trust Accounts. Holding a Member Trust Institute (MTI) and/or Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation is advantageous.
Skills: You possess strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
