Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Front Desk Associate to join our team at Newmarket Inn. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to guests and direct them to their destinations.
  • Process guest information and requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Record and relay important information to guests and staff.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including filing, sorting, and distributing mail.
  • Answer phone calls and relay messages to guests and staff.
  • Calculate and process guest billing charges.
  • Monitor mobile radio and telephone for important messages and updates.
  • Provide directory assistance and relay service to guests with disabilities.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of office software.
Work Environment

Our front desk is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be working closely with our guests and staff. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
