The Assistant Store Manager works closely with the Store Manager and is instrumental in fostering a collaborative atmosphere that encourages inclusivity and positive interactions. Your role will involve guiding the team to meet sales and profitability goals, as well as participating in recruitment, performance evaluations, training, and development initiatives. Flexibility in adapting to diverse situations, challenges, tasks, and work schedules is crucial for success.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the store achieves corporate objectives and key performance metrics.
  • Oversee store operations by effectively managing responsibilities such as adherence to company policies, loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and staff scheduling.
  • Assist in recruiting, managing, developing, and training enthusiastic candidates who excel in sales, customer service, and fashion.
  • Execute marketing initiatives while ensuring a clean, consistent, and welcoming shopping environment.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with the Store Manager and District Manager.

Qualifications:

What You Offer:

  • One to two years of experience in a leadership role or supervisory position within a customer-oriented environment.
  • Proven ability to drive team success through outstanding sales performance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is advantageous.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
