POSITION SUMMARY
The Customer Service Authorization Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding support to retail locations across North America. This position primarily focuses on assisting with check cashing services while also addressing inquiries related to various other products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and helpful manner, demonstrating a genuine commitment to resolving issues and providing clear communication.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant products and support policies to ensure accurate and effective solutions for users.
- Participate in training sessions as necessary to improve skills and knowledge.
- Achieve performance targets and metrics as established by management.
- Review and approve check transactions, particularly those that are large, exceed guidelines, or are pending clearance.
- Handle customer and employee inquiries effectively.
- Support store staff with customer service issues, especially in the absence of collection agents.
- Manage new commercial account approvals and negotiate terms for commercial clients.
- Keep comprehensive records for all commercial business accounts.
- Possess a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures.
- Communicate directly with store personnel through various channels including phone, chat, and email.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic team-oriented setting.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Technical proficiency in relevant software and systems.
- Flexibility to work various shifts aligned with retail operational hours.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and technical writing abilities.
COMPENSATION
Minimum Pay Range: $52,000 CAD
