Special Authority Clerk

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Special Authority Clerk to join our team. As a Special Authority Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring eligible patients in BC receive the pharmaceutical coverage they need in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Process patient-specific drug requests, ensuring they meet established criteria and maintaining accurate records.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure eligible patients receive the pharmaceutical coverage they need.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to pharmaceutical coverage.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
- Grade 12 graduation or equivalent (GED), OR an equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training.
- A minimum one (1) year of related experience and/or training, including experience working in a Windows-based computer environment.
- Experience working in an office setting and experience in keyboarding with a minimum 50 words per minute (WPM).
- Preference may be given to applicants with experience using PharmaNet or PNP, pharmacy experience, or who identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Métis or Inuit).
