About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Localization Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Montreal. As a Localization QA Tester, you will be responsible for testing games to ensure linguistic, visual, and cultural accuracy in various languages, including Spanish (Castilian). Your attention to detail and passion for video games will be essential in identifying and reporting errors.
Key Responsibilities- Test video game titles and verify all text, images, and voice-over components in Spanish (Castilian)
- Find translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic errors in video game titles
- Report errors in a bug-tracking database and/or translation document in a clear manner
- Provide resolutions for errors reported to improve the linguistic and translated content
- Follow and respect terminology guidelines
- Cross-check issues between different languages with your team
- Report to and follow instructions from the Test Lead
- Address and escalate problems to the Test Lead
- Native-level language competency in Spanish (Castilian)
- Proof of existing eligibility to work in Canada
- Experience using mobile, PC, and console devices and knowledge of their terminology
- Passion for video games
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Professional competency in English
- Starting salary set at 17 CAD/hour
