Main Function:
Oversee a portfolio of around 45 to 60 significant clients, including national accounts and fixed-price clients. Develop sales strategies that effectively communicate the value proposition of CB Canada to clients within the assigned territory to enhance sales profitability. Utilize the Sales Management System (SMS) to assess customer requirements and present cost-effective solutions that will boost sales, foster customer loyalty, and ensure retention.
Main Functions and Responsibilities:
- Maximize revenue from assigned accounts by enhancing their sales, increasing customer interactions, and consistently identifying and developing opportunities to meet or exceed company expectations.
- Comprehend customer needs and objectives while remaining attentive and responsive to shifts in customer requirements.
- Exhibit knowledge of business data; leverage resources to promptly address new developments in customer operations.
- Demonstrate the ability to target actions and strategies that will yield positive sales outcomes.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of products and services to formulate business strategies aimed at revenue growth.
- Clearly articulate and elucidate CB Canada's value proposition to clients and provide solutions that will enhance sales profitability.
- Communicate in a structured, clear, and concise manner to effectively convey ideas, plans, and projects related to addressing customer needs.
- Establish market and customer priorities to implement an action plan that achieves sales objectives.
- Develop and execute account penetration strategies, including key customer activity reports, to maximize sales.
- Adhere to company sales and pricing policies.
- Fully leverage resources and technical support available.
- Document, analyze, and comprehend targeted customer activities to enhance customer productivity and sales.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Proactive attitude, high energy levels, and a strong desire to achieve and surpass established goals.
- Business acumen related to sales forecasting, management opportunities, and customer planning.
- Technological proficiency and understanding of professional communication in today's environment.
- Ability to listen, build trust with others, and successfully execute actions, projects, resolutions, and sales with clients.
- Capability to clearly articulate business drivers, comprehend key financial concepts, and total cost of ownership at all organizational levels.
- Ability to utilize sales processes to uncover customer objections and concerns and identify appropriate solutions.
- Commitment to maintaining an action plan until desired results are achieved.
- Strict adherence to processes, aligning goal planning with pipeline development to enhance business revenue.
- Knowledge of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) products and their applications is advantageous.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
- Post-secondary education is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience is required.
Work Environment:
According to CB Canada's sales management protocol, it is necessary to visit customer market sites at least once a month or more frequently as required.
