Job Title: Roofer Helper

At SMITH-PEAT ROOFING AND SHEET METAL LTD., we are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our roofing team as a Roofer Helper. This is a temporary position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work at heights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
Work Environment:

This position requires working outdoors in various locations, often at heights. The work site environment can be physically demanding, with repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads.

Requirements:
  • Steel-toed safety boots are required for this position.
  • Reliability and a team player attitude are essential.
