About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team at Gobind Granite Inc. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of tile installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Installation Preparation
    • Measure and mark surfaces to be covered with tiles
    • Prepare rough plans and sketches for tile layouts
  • Tile Installation
    • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
    • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a seamless finish
    • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
  • Finishing Touches
    • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
    • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
    • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to basic security clearance protocols
  • Equipment and Tools
    • Operate steel-toed safety boots and other necessary equipment
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile installation
  • Work Environment
    • Work in various locations, including client sites and our warehouse
  • Work Schedule
    • 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as needed
Language and Communication
  • Language
    • English is the primary language of communication
