Job Title: Slot Machine Technician

We are seeking a skilled Slot Machine Technician to join our team at CB Canada. As a Slot Machine Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, servicing, and maintaining slot machines to minimize downtime and loss of revenue to the casino.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and repair slot machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Perform slot machine moves, conversions, game installs, and other slot projects as assigned, adhering to all applicable regulations and internal controls.
  • Set up game options and test hardware, firmware, and system interfaces to ensure accuracy and functionality.
  • Document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.
  • Assist guests with any needs or concerns in a friendly and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in electronics or a related field, or equivalent working experience and education.
  • 1+ years' hands-on working experience in a slot operations or electronics area.
  • Fine pitch soldering, ICT, SMT, and wave soldering skills.
  • PCB fault finding and debugging, chip component repair, and working knowledge of computer software packages.
  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and proactive problem-solving skills.
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. The role requires repetitive lifting, standing, bending, and stooping, as well as the ability to work in confined spaces and exposure to dust.
