Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Slot Technician to join our team at CB Canada. As a Slot Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, servicing, and maintaining slot machines to minimize downtime and loss of revenue to the casino.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and repair slot machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Perform slot machine moves, conversions, game installs, and other slot projects as assigned, adhering to all applicable regulations and internal controls.
  • Set up game options and test hardware, firmware, and system interfaces to ensure accuracy and functionality.
  • Use computer software packages to troubleshoot electronic equipment and document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.
  • Assist guests with any needs or concerns in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Travel to other CB Canada locations as required for slot projects.
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in electronics or a related field, or equivalent working experience and education.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on working experience in a slot operations or electronics area.
  • Fine pitch soldering skills.
  • Knowledge of computer software packages and ability to troubleshoot electronic equipment.
  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented with a drive to succeed.
  • Strong initiative, active listening, and teamwork skills.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Repetitive lifting of over 40lbs, including pushing, pulling, standing, bending, and stooping.
  • Possibility of working in confined spaces and exposure to dust.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Flexible schedule with non-traditional work hours, including holidays, evenings, overnights, or weekend shifts.
