Clinical Quality Improvement Manager

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Quality Director to provide leadership and direction to physicians and other healthcare providers on quality and patient safety initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with the clinical quality and patient safety department, senior leadership, and department leaders to establish evidence-based patient care models that increase the safety of patients, clinicians, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Improvement Leadership: Serve as a lead or advisor for physician-driven quality improvement projects and initiatives, working collaboratively with the clinical quality and patient safety department to establish patient care models that are evidence-based and increase the safety of patients, clinicians, and staff.
- Program Leadership: Provide program leadership to physicians and other healthcare providers on quality and patient safety initiatives, including identifying quality improvement learning needs and participating in educational activities aimed at developing physician skills in clinical quality and patient safety.
- Critical Incident Reviews: Provide expertise to the critical incident/quality review process through the identification of recommendations and follow-up actions, supporting physician-related quality reviews and critical incident reviews.
- Strategic Planning: Serve as a key advisor for decision-making and strategic planning for quality improvement and patient safety at the local acute hospital, analyzing patient safety indicators and recommending strategies to leadership to improve clinical quality and patient safety.
