Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Architect to join our team at Global Pharma Tek. As a Business Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing business solutions that drive growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Business Architectures: Create comprehensive business architectures that align with our company's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Design Business Solutions: Design and implement business solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement business solutions.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and Maintain Architectural Governance: Develop and maintain architectural governance and controls over business architectures.
  • Integrate Business Architectures: Integrate stand-alone business architectures to create a cohesive and aligned business architecture.
  • Align Business Architecture Processes: Align business architecture processes and artifacts with service design practices.
  • Model Business Functional and Contractual Accountabilities: Model business functional and contractual accountabilities to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Knowledge of Zachman Framework: Knowledge of the Zachman Framework and its application in business architecture.
  • Experience in Developing Business Architectures: Experience in developing business architectures, enterprise architecture methodologies, and GO-ITS standards.
  • Experience with OPS Enterprise Architecture Governance Process: Experience with the OPS Enterprise Architecture governance process, including Governance Point (AGP).
  • Familiarity with Information Management, Privacy, and Records Keeping Principles: Familiarity with information management, privacy, and records keeping principles and concepts as they pertain to business architecture.
  • Familiarity with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA): Familiarity with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards as they pertain to business architecture.
  • Ability to Design/Propose Business Architectures: Ability to design and propose business architectures that leverage latest cutting-edge technologies.
  • Familiarity with Service Design Principles: Familiarity with service design principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Modeling Tools: Knowledge of enterprise architecture modeling tools, including Power Designer, Sparx Enterprise Architect, and Orbus.
  • Ability to Support Procurement Documentation: Ability to support procurement documentation, including Request for Bid.
