Key Responsibilities- Informatics Leadership: Provide vision and direction for the development and implementation of effective informatics strategies and solutions to support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of informatics professionals to ensure the effective delivery of informatics services and support the achievement of organizational goals.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our informatics services, including the development of business cases and proposals to support investment in new technologies and initiatives.
- Collaboration and Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, vendors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure the effective delivery of informatics services and support the achievement of organizational goals.
- Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management processes to ensure the effective delivery of informatics services and support the achievement of organizational goals.
- Quality Improvement: Lead and manage quality improvement initiatives to ensure the effective delivery of informatics services and support the achievement of organizational goals.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A baccalaureate degree in a relevant profession, supplemented with leadership and business management courses.
- A minimum of five (5) years' recent, related progressive informatics leadership experience in a complex acute care information systems environment.
- Two (2) years' experience in the coordination, implementation, and maintenance of radiology information systems and/or picture archiving and communication systems.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of informatics professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain systems and processes to achieve strategic outcomes.
