We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Project Execution Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the execution of water treatment projects, working closely with our project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Specify technical requirements for products with suppliers.
  • Develop a project engineering plan to plan deliverables, timelines, resources, and control project risks.
  • Define the scope of supply for contractors.
  • Specify interconnection piping.
  • Prepare and coordinate P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, installation and fabrication plans for components with the design team.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals against technical requirements, timelines, and budgets.
  • Approve and release technical requirements to the project manager to establish purchase orders.
  • Prepare engineering lists (equipment, valves, instruments, etc.).
  • Support the process and proposal teams in preparing proposals.
  • Support the start-up team in preparing start-up documents.
  • Conduct project experience reviews according to company practices.
  • Participate in the design of Veolia technologies.
  • Perform any other engineering responsibilities related to project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, or water engineering, with over 5 years of experience.
  • Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ).
  • Knowledge of water treatment equipment and processes.
  • Knowledge of Gsuite (Gmail, Google Doc, Google sheet, etc.).
  • Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong team player.
  • High problem-solving ability.
  • Attention to detail, rigorous, and concerned with the accuracy and precision of designs.
  • Ability to interact with various internal and external stakeholders.
