About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at Floor Concepts Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and precise installation.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to create a stable and even surface.
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling to ensure efficient installation and minimize downtime.
  • Install resilient floor coverings, including carpeting, hardwood, and other materials, to meet client specifications.
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to maintain the integrity of the installation.
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants to prepare surfaces for new installations.
  • Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces as required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. You must be able to lift and move heavy materials, and work in a variety of settings, including urban areas.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in flooring installation.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Organized and efficient, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
