We are looking for an individual who is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously. As the primary liaison, you will need to exercise discretion, uphold confidentiality, and showcase outstanding interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, draft, and negotiate contracts and legal agreements with external parties, including non-disclosure agreements;
- Oversee communications, manage appointments and meetings through Outlook, and coordinate intricate travel arrangements, itineraries, and agendas;
- Maintain company records, resolutions, and certificates, ensuring accurate filing and scanning of documents;
- Provide guidance on internal legal matters, including employee-related issues and organizational policies;
- Conduct legal research pertaining to finance and technology products, along with other legal concerns;
- Research, document, and assist in the implementation of internal best practices regarding legal issues, such as employment contracts and employee benefits;
- Supervise and support the staff responsible for managing lender and credit licenses;
- Assist in budget planning and management, maintain tracking systems, and coordinate the processing and approval of external legal counsel fees and expense reports;
- Perform administrative duties, including drafting correspondence and memoranda, scheduling meetings and conference calls, and managing email communications;
- Create, proofread, and update presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint, spreadsheets in Excel, and documents in Word;
- Support the Legal and Operations Departments in various projects as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- A degree in Business Administration, Paralegal Studies, Law, or a related discipline;
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a corporate or legal environment;
- Strong organizational skills in managing legal documentation;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work with meticulous attention to detail;
- Experience in reviewing and negotiating legal and confidentiality agreements with external parties;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and DocuSign for preparing legal documents;
- Ability to follow up with colleagues and external parties regarding financial transactions;
- Knowledge of employment law and internal policies to provide legal guidance to employees;
- Capability to conduct and present legal research on various issues related to product development and internal best practices;
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
