Key Responsibilities

The Construction Support Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials efficiently.
  • Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades.
  • Assisting in the framing of houses, erecting walls, and constructing roofs.
  • Cleaning and organizing salvaged materials for reuse.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Managing chemical spills and other contaminants safely.
  • Removing rubble and debris from construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Tending to machines and equipment utilized in construction processes.
Physical Demands

This position is physically demanding and requires:

  • Ability to handle heavy loads, with a maximum weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
