About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at K5 FLOOR & TILE LTD. as a key member of our installation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces to be covered by measuring, marking, and cutting tiles to fit.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials to ensure a strong bond between tiles and surfaces.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power tools.
  • Pack and remove excess grout from joints between tiles.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles to maintain a high-quality finish.
  • Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets to support tile installations.
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite tiles to meet customer specifications.
  • Estimate costs and materials for tile installations to ensure accurate pricing and efficient use of resources.
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces to achieve a high-gloss finish.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Employees in this position will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently to complete tasks.
  • Attention to detail is crucial to ensure high-quality tile installations.
Personal Qualities and Experience
  • We are looking for a reliable and accurate individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Candidates should have excellent client focus and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Previous experience in tile installation or a related field is preferred, but not required.
