About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Claims Representative to join our team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a Field Claims Representative, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving complex commercial and personal lines property claims in a timely and respectful manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site visits to investigate claims, gathering information and evidence to determine coverage and assess damage.
  • Document claim files, meeting with customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary reports and statements.
  • Analyze information, interpret insurance policy wording, and determine coverage.
  • Negotiate with customers, claimants, lawyers, and insurers to settle claims.
  • Maintain current knowledge of insurance products and industry developments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of property claims experience, with prior experience as a field adjuster preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Strong aptitude for technology and excellent computer skills.
  • Xactanalysis and Xactimate experience is an asset.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
