Job Summary

As a Field Diesel Mechanic – Customer Equipment Solutions, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customer's equipment. You will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on complex diesel-powered machinery at customer sites with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct safe and efficient maintenance and repair of intricate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems across a variety of customer equipment.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all work performed through detailed documentation and electronic work orders.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with clients and addressing their equipment needs.
  • Travel to various customer job sites to execute repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of your service vehicle.
  • Assist in the pickup and delivery of equipment and parts as required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in repairing and maintaining heavy equipment and tools.
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and comprehensive knowledge of various hand tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction equipment and diesel engine mechanics.
  • Possession of essential tools required for the position.
  • Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to frequently lift objects weighing up to 45 lbs.
