GARAGE CHAREST & FRÈRES INC. is seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Vehicle Repairer to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Truck and Transport Vehicle Repairer to work on commercial transport trucks. The successful candidate will be responsible for adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and performing scheduled maintenance service.

Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements:
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Tools
