About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Premium Sweets & Desserts Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dessert shop, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that all inventory is managed effectively to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.

Lead by Example

Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional customer service and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Manage Budget and Reports

Prepare budget and cost estimates, and prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.

Address Customer Concerns

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and to the satisfaction of the customer.

Maintain Records

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and use this data to inform business decisions and optimize operations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in food service management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lead and motivate a team, and to make decisions quickly and effectively in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
