Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Elite Physio Care West Mountain. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Health Care Professionals: Work closely with our physiotherapists and occupational therapists to provide patient care and support.
- Carry Out Treatment Programs: Assist in the implementation of treatment programs for patients with various injuries or disabilities, under the direction of our physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
- Maintain Clinical and Progress Reports: Accurately document patient rehabilitation progress and maintain clinical and progress reports.
- Perform General Clerical Duties: Provide administrative support, including processing files and paperwork.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Word.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Work Setting: Office of a health care professional, sports therapy, orthopedics, or private practice.
- Area of Specialization: Physiotherapy.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, walking, repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling, and attention to detail.
- Experience: Experience in the field of physiotherapy is an asset.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
