About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at DEV WELLNESS & REHAB CLINIC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment
    • Administer tests and assessments to patients, under the guidance of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to identify areas of improvement and develop personalized treatment plans.
    • Monitor and record patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Support Services
    • Provide administrative support to physiotherapists and occupational therapists, including scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate records.
    • Assist patients with daily tasks, such as positioning for treatments and providing general support.
  • Communication and Documentation
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
    • Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as healthcare or rehabilitation.
    • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a physiotherapy or occupational therapy role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
