Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Edo Japan Spruce Grove. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all meals are prepared to order and presented in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Qualities: Dependability, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. Public transportation is available.
