Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at CHOWKENI FOOD CATERING SERVICES. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, taking into account their specific dietary requirements.
- Special Meals: Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef, ensuring that all meals are tailored to meet their specific needs.
- Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that all staff are aware of the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that all stock is up to date and that orders are placed in a timely manner.
- Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring that all areas are clean and tidy at all times.
- Event Management: Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring that all events are executed to the highest standards.
- Kitchen Operations: Manage kitchen operations, ensuring that all kitchen staff are aware of their roles and responsibilities and that all kitchen areas are clean and tidy at all times.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
