Job Title: General Farm Worker

We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Farm Worker to join our team at eNature Greenhouses Inc.

Job Summary:

The General Farm Worker will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to crop care, harvesting, and equipment maintenance in our greenhouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Crop Care: Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, as well as fertilize and spray crops to ensure optimal growth and health.
  • Harvesting: Harvest crops, including vegetables and fruits, and grade them according to size, shape, color, and volume.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including automated irrigation systems and tractors.
  • Cleaning: Clean the greenhouse, work area, and equipment to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and handling heavy loads.
Working Conditions:

Fast-paced environment, with a large workload and overtime required. Ability to work under pressure and in a hot, wet/damp environment.
