Job Title: Electrical Foreman/Woman

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman/Woman to join our team at Construction & More Corp.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects, supervising a team of workers, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit reports on project progress and status
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of electrical workers and projects
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Recruit, hire, and train electrical workers as needed
  • Prepare bids and estimates for electrical projects
  • Manage and maintain company equipment and resources
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
  • Recommend personnel actions and make decisions on staffing
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • 1-2 years of experience in electrical work or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors
  • Manual dexterity and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Physically demanding work environment
