Job Title: Drywall Finisher

At Top Side Drywall (2018) Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring that our drywall installations are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fills joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
  • Finishes corners and angles and creates decorative designs in finish coat, if required
  • Measures, cuts, fits and installs drywall sheets
  • Positions and secures sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Tapes over joints using taping machine and embeds tape in compound
  • Prepares wall and ceiling layouts
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Physically demanding
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Flexibility
  • Reliability
  • Team player
Work Environment:

Our Drywall Finisher will work outdoors and be required to perform physically demanding tasks.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

40 hours per week.
