About the Role

Cooke Aquaculture Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project and Plan Manager to join our team of professionals. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and communicating production plans, facilitating meetings with relevant personnel, and evaluating the performance of production plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement production plans, including short and long-term capital project planning and project management oversight.
  • Manage biological budgets for yearly and long-term projections, including setting up projects and scenarios using Mercatus-Future.
  • Review production data weekly, monthly, and yearly, and prepare reports and smolt delivery records.
  • Prepare production month-end reporting and reconciliation between FishTalk and budget projections.
  • Review sampling coming from sites and update FishTalk, and projections by regions.
  • Improve the growth model and update it for different groups and regions.
  • Manage production planning, including Fish Talk and Mercatus-Future.
  • Develop harvest projections monthly, yearly, and long-term based on a long-term stocking plan.
  • Manage feed management, controlling and following the usage projection to match the budget.
  • Liaise with various departments, including Finance, Operation, Fish Health, Freshwater and Saltwater Production, and Senior Management Team.

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of marine production, planning, and projections in Salmon Farming.
  • Ability to supervise and lead teams.
  • Knowledge of fish performance and growth models.
  • Knowledge of planning and projections of fish performance and growth models.
  • Knowledge of Fish Health and diseases.
  • Ability to provide effective written and oral reports.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet programs and email.
  • Ability to analyze production data and projections.
  • Ability to analyze problems and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Project Planning and Management.
