About the Role

The Saltwater Operations Support Manager will play a critical role in driving the success of Cooke Inc.'s marine farming operations. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing operational plans, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring the effective execution of key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and communicate operational plans to ensure seamless execution of marine farming operations.
  • Lead both long-term and weekly sea-lice treatment planning sessions, communicating resource requirements as necessary.
  • Operational and resource requirement planning to execute flawlessly in the areas of in situ net-washing, site preparation, and smolt delivery.
  • Support long-term and short-term capital project planning and project management oversight.
Requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of marine salmon farming and fish health and disease issues.
  • Ability to supervise and lead teams, provide written reports, and analyze production data.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to analyze problems and make recommendations.
  • Project planning and management skills, with the ability to work within the parameters of the role and stretch to full potential.
