Arobas Personnel is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist-L3

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced IT professional to join our team as an IT Infrastructure Specialist-L3. This is a permanent position with one of our clients located in Montreal.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining desktop equipment and peripheral inventories across Canada. They will also ensure effective communication with vendors to resolve technical issues as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire, maintain, and expand knowledge of relevant products, support policies, and best practices to deliver high-quality service.
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain desktop equipment and peripheral inventories across Canada.
  • Ensure effective communication with vendors to resolve technical issues as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with the IT Infrastructure Senior Manager to handle special product-related matters and provide recommendations specific to the Canadian context.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving network connectivity issues in collaboration with local or outsourced vendors.
  • Provide support for Mac environments, including maintaining standardized system images.
  • Oversee the setup, implementation, and replacement of network equipment, such as switches and devices connected to the Canadian network.
  • Support and troubleshoot LAN, VPN, wireless connectivity, and third-party hardware operating within the local network infrastructure in Canada.
  • Work alongside the USA-based network administrator to implement changes to shared infrastructure.
  • Assist with network cabling installations to ensure end-to-end connectivity.
  • Manage local security facilities and the CCTV system.
  • Offer level 2 support for Office365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive to French-speaking users.
  • Assist the Infrastructure Senior Manager with matters related to antivirus, cybersecurity, and PCI certification for TheFace Shop Canada eCommerce application.

Requirements:

  • A technical degree in computer science or a diploma in Information Systems with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proficiency in both Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Fluency in both French and English (oral and written communication skills).
  • Experience using Service Desk ticketing systems.
  • Procurement experience for IT equipment purchases.
  • Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, ARP, VLAN, RIP, etc.
