We are seeking a skilled Catering Cook to join our team at Emelle's Catering Ltd. As a Catering Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring that every dish meets our company's quality and presentation expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and portion sizes, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Plating food in an aesthetically pleasing manner to enhance the dining experience for guests.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Assist employees with company regulations and procedures.
- Ensure that food portions and food presentation meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Ensure hygiene by maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the kitchen.
- Language: English
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
- Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience is required.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail.
