Key Responsibilities- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and tasks.
- Authorize Payments: Verify and authorize payments by cheque, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Order Merchandise: Source and purchase merchandise, supplies, and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked and efficient gas station.
- Authorize Return of Merchandise: Review and approve returns of merchandise, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for sales workers, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing overtime.
- Sell Merchandise: Assist customers with purchases, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service.
- Prepare Reports: Compile and analyze sales data, merchandising reports, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Manage inventory levels, track stock, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of sales workers, providing guidance, support, and coaching as needed.
Our gas station is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills. As a Gas Station Supervisor, you will work closely with our sales team to ensure a positive customer experience and efficient operations.
Requirements- Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a retail or gas station environment is an asset.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
