About the Role

The Project Lead will report directly to the Program Manager within the OPOR Program. This position is pivotal in delivering exceptional organizational support and facilitating informed decision-making across various project initiatives. The Project Lead will leverage extensive knowledge of project management methodologies to ensure the successful execution of tasks essential for effective project delivery.

In this capacity, the Project Lead will collaborate closely with management and project managers, providing comprehensive support for all project-related activities. This full-time role may involve assisting multiple project managers, directors, and departments, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prepare essential documentation, communications, agendas, and meeting minutes.
  • Contribute to project requirements, risk assessments, scheduling, and change control processes.
  • Support the IM/IT Program Manager and Project Managers in achieving project objectives.
  • Maintain a high level of organization while managing competing tasks and deadlines.
Qualifications

We invite candidates with the following qualifications to apply:

  • A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business Analysis, or a related field; equivalent training and experience will also be considered.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in project coordination or administration, preferably in IT or healthcare settings.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
  • Familiarity with healthcare information systems and terminology is advantageous.
  • Certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and/or organizational change management is a plus.
  • Proven ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Strong adaptability to manage dynamic and evolving environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Understanding of the complete project life-cycle and project management principles.
  • Competency in additional languages is beneficial, with a preference for French.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time position with a commitment of 75 hours bi-weekly.
  • Duration of assignment is approximately 36 months, subject to change.
Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $29.91 to $37.38. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, along with a defined benefit pension plan.
