We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced **Billing Supervisor **to join our team in Bedford, NS.

**Responsibilities**
- Sign off on Accounts Payable EFT files weekly.
- Assist with problem related Accounts Payable items including resolving disputes with suppliers/subcontractors.
- Provide oversight to the finance clerks in the department including, performance assessment, scheduling, requests for time off, deliverables and objectives.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and controls.
- Monitor and enforce policies and procedures relevant to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports as required.
- Participate in accounting meetings.

This position is suitable for someone with an Undergraduate Degree in accounting, finance, or business administration in addition to a minimum of 5 years related experience (or an equivalent combination of training and experience). Prior supervisory experience is preferred.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate as appropriate
- Ability and experience thriving in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Extensive knowledge of accounting concepts and principles
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software, including accounting and financial software. Proficiency in Jonas will be considered an asset.
