About the Role

Ornge Global Air Inc. operating as Ornge is seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Officer Pilot to join our team. As a key member of our flight crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Flight Operations
    • Monitor the operation of aircraft systems during flight
    • Co-ordinate flight activities with ground crews and air-traffic control
    • Direct activities of aircraft crew during flights
  • Pre-Flight Preparation
    • Conduct pre-flight inspections of aircraft
    • Check passenger and cargo distribution to ensure weight and balance specifications are met
  • Communication
    • Communicate with flight dispatchers and weather forecasters
    • Respond to and report in-flight emergencies and malfunctions
  • Reporting
    • Prepare flight evaluation reports
Requirements
  • Education
    • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Personal Qualities
